Ryan is seeking a VAT Consultant to provide VAT compliance services and advisory support to clients across multiple countries. You will prepare and submit VAT declarations where clients operate and keep pace with evolving tax rules.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Law, Management, or Economics and fluent English and French. You will build strong client relationships, communicate with tax authorities, and proactively update technical VAT knowledge for multi‑jurisdictional work.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Management, or Economics.
• Fluent in English and French; additional languages valued.
• Experience in multinational environments preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and understand clients’ businesses and transaction flows to ensure VAT declarations are submitted by deadlines.
• Analyze VAT data and prepare VAT declarations to ensure compliance with country regulations.
• Serve as a point of contact with clients and prepare reports and advisory emails.
• Communicate with tax authorities in countries where clients have strategic transactions.
• Handle information requests and audits performed by tax authorities on behalf of clients.
• Assist Senior Consultants and Managers with other intricate business issues.
• Follow up on VAT registration/deregistration processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Research and update the VAT knowledge database.
