Job summary

Jobgether SRL seeks an experienced Program Manager based in Portugal to lead complex, multi-project initiatives in banking/fintech. This fully remote role oversees governance, budgets, roadmaps, and KPIs across cross-functional teams, while aligning with regulatory obligations and strategic goals.

You will partner with senior leaders to balance innovation with risk and compliance, driving secure, scalable and high-impact digital finance solutions for distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
• At least 10 years in project or program management, 5+ in banking/fintech.
• Experience delivering complex multi-project programs with regulatory needs.
• Strong governance, PMO, delivery frameworks, and portfolio practices.
• Certifications in program/project management (PRINCE2, PgMP, SAFe).
• Extensive experience with SAFe, LeSS, or Disciplined Agile Delivery; hybrid delivery.
• Deep knowledge of financial services regulations (PCI DSS, GDPR, PSD2, SOC 2, ISO 27001, SAMA).
• Cloud familiarity (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define and oversee program governance, RACI, steering committees, reporting.
• Align multi-project portfolios with strategy; ensure measurable value.
• Develop roadmaps, budgets, milestones, KPIs; manage resources.
• Oversee concurrent projects with cross-functional coordination.
• Mentor project managers across engineering, security, compliance.
• Enforce best practices for agile delivery and stakeholder engagement.
• Manage program risks, dependencies, and escalation strategies.
• Provide executive-level reporting on progress, risks, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with C-levels to balance innovation, security, and compliance.
• Drive governance, delivery standards, and organizational performance.
