Mercor is seeking a part-time evaluator to listen to AI-narrated audiobooks in European Portuguese and assess naturalness, accuracy, and overall enjoyment. This remote role requires careful listening and precise logging of errors such as mispronunciations, skipped words, and incorrect numbers, with annotations and spans identified in our review tooling.

Ideal candidates are native or near-native speakers of European Portuguese, with good English for reporting, and some experience in annotation

Qualificações

• Native or near-native fluency in European Portuguese.
• Working knowledge of English for reporting.
• Experience with annotation, labeling, transcription, proofreading, linguistics, or detail-oriented review work.

Responsabilidades

• Listen to AI-narrated audiobooks in European Portuguese and assess naturalness, accuracy, and enjoyment.
• Spot and log errors in synthesized speech (missed words, mispronunciations, wrong numbers, awkward phrasing).
• Categorize issues and mark exact spans using review tooling.
• Report on overall listener satisfaction and areas where narration is natural or breaks the experience.
• Maintain focus and accuracy across long listening sessions.
