Meridial is seeking a Portuguese Language Specialist for a freelance AI Trainer Project in Portugal. This role involves shaping AI through phonetics, syntax, and semantics expertise, ensuring high-quality training data for language models.

The ideal candidate will hold a master’s or PhD in linguistics, demonstrate teaching experience, and have a passion for linguistic analysis. You will challenge models on grammatical structures, verify their accuracy, and suggest improvements.

This is a remote role, with pay ranging from $6 to $65 per hour, based on experience and expertise.

Qualifications

• Expertise in phonetics, morphology, syntax, semantics, and sociolinguistics of Portuguese.
• Experience in teaching, linguistics analysis, or peer-reviewed publications.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively.
