Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a DevOps and Go Platform Engineer in Portugal to build an internal developer platform and CI/CD ecosystem supporting multiple products.

This hands-on role blends infrastructure engineering with Go development, encompassing Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Grafana, and OpenSearch, with Windows/Hyper-V heritage and cloud options across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of senior DevOps or Platform Engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with on-premise infrastructure, hardware and infra issues.
• Production Go development experience and building tools/ exporters.
• Strong Kubernetes experience with Linux administration.
• IaC with Terraform and Ansible.
• Observability with Grafana, OpenSearch, Prometheus.
• Experience with Windows Server/Hyper-V and PowerShell.
• Ownership mindset with end-to-end delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
• Support and improve infrastructure across on‑premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Develop and refactor internal platform tools in Go, including a next‑gen deployment system replacement.
• Investigate environments, identify bottlenecks, and implement measurable improvements.
• Optimize staging/ephemeral environments for performance and cost.
• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible.
• Strengthen observability via Grafana, OpenSearch, Prometheus, and metrics.
• Collaborate with R&D, QA, SRE, and infra teams to improve workflows for faster delivery.
• Work across modern and legacy stacks, including Windows Server/Hyper-V.
