Jobgether in Portugal is seeking a DevOps Administrator to operate and evolve reliable infrastructure. You will work with Linux systems, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and IaC to automate deployments and improve reliability.

You will help monitor, back up, and optimize core services, collaborating across teams to enhance visibility and efficiency. Strong scripting, VMware, and observability know-how are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux system administration, especially Red Hat or Oracle Linux.
• Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with CI/CD and automated delivery processes.
• Experience using Ansible for configuration management.
• Proficiency with Terraform and IaC practices.
• Advanced Git skills for version-controlled infrastructure.
• Strong monitoring and observability of infrastructure.
• Experience with VMware products and virtualized environments.
• Ability to write scripts and develop automation solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills across teams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, investigate incidents, and drive timely resolution with clear documentation.
• Configure and improve monitoring and incident-management processes with monitoring specialists and teams.
• Design and implement backup strategies to strengthen infrastructure resilience.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment processes and IaC solutions for consistency and scalability.
• Build cross-department collaboration to enable automated monitoring of core services.
• Review Grafana dashboards for accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Administer VMware infrastructure and test new vendor implementations.
• Contribute to standards, documentation, automation initiatives, and optimization projects.
