PPOAR is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer in Braga with a strong focus on software quality. The role involves designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

You will perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, verify fixes, and analyze root causes. Remote considerations may apply for exceptional candidates; compensation includes health insurance and growth opportunities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience as QA Engineer or similar role
• Familiarity with SDLC processes
• Experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g. Selenium)
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java) is a plus
• Understanding of agile methodologies is preferred
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Identify, record, and track defects through their resolution
• Collaborate with software developers to ensure defects are resolved and updates are tested accordingly
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
• Verify bug fixes and perform root cause analysis on recurring issues
• Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into testing processes
• Provide timely reports on testing progress and results
