Dragonboat is hiring a Backend Engineer to join our Portugal team. You’ll work on the systems that power Dragonboat’s platform, from the data model to the integrations with customer tools, building backend foundations that enable AI-powered features and production-grade reliability.

You’ll thrive in a startup, fast-paced environment, owning problems end-to-end, and delivering scalable, data-heavy systems while collaborating closely with product and other engineers.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Ownership of problems from design to production.
• Experience with data-heavy systems and optimization.
• Familiarity with AI tools and integrating them into workflows.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Own and evolve the core backend platform, including data model and APIs.
• Build backend systems powering portfolio intelligence and analytics at scale.
• Maintain integrations with customer tools and services.
• Make architectural decisions to support growth and multi-tenant SaaS.
• Collaborate with product and engineers to ship fast and reliably.
• Leverage AI tooling as a first-class part of development.
