Job summary

Jobgether SRL in Portugal is seeking a Compliance Officer focused on cryptoasset regulatory matters. You will lead regulatory submissions, policies, and risk assessments across MiCA, CASP, UK FCA, and related regimes, with close collaboration to senior leadership.

This remote-first role offers autonomy, exposure to regulators, and the opportunity to shape compliance programs, DORA, TFR/Travel Rule, and AML/AMLD governance within a growing international team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in regulatory compliance, incl. cryptoasset licensing, governance docs.
• Experience with cryptoasset authorization frameworks (MiCA/CASP, UK FCA) and regulator interactions.
• Proven ability to author substantial regulatory documents with regulator feedback details.
• Knowledge of TFR, Travel Rule and counterparty information in transfers.
• Familiarity with DORA, AMLD, FATF standards and outsourcing governance.
• Strong written/verbal English and regulatory drafting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage FCA cryptoasset regulatory application process and information requests.
• Lead post-authorization implementation of MiCA CASP license and national authority obligations.
• Develop regulatory policies, governance docs, and risk assessments.
• Design regulatory framework for Transfer of Funds Regulation and Travel Rule.
• Establish blockchain analytics control frameworks and regulatory oversight.
• Coordinate with ICT on DORA documentation and CASP risk requirements.
• Conduct regulatory assessments of new cryptoassets and counterparties.
• Perform gap analyses and remediation planning with regulatory alignment.
• Draft regulatory submissions, policies, risk assessments, and inquiries responses.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate requirements into practical controls.
