Job summary

Decskill is growing and seeking a React Native Developer to join our Lisbon/Porto/Madrid team. You will build mobile apps from the ground up, translate Figma designs into native screens, and own architecture, navigation, and data flows with secure, offline-ready code.

You will integrate REST APIs, implement authentication, push notifications, and in-app deep linking, while writing tests and participating in code reviews. This role rewards curiosity, collaboration, and impact.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in mobile development, with at least 2 years in React Native/TypeScript.
• At least one mobile app published on App Store and Google Play.
• Experience with Expo or React Native CLI and distribution workflows.

We are looking for React Native Developer!

Responsibilities:

• Build a mobile application from scratch, from its foundations and design system to its features, translating Figma designs into native iOS and Android screens.
• Develop complete and robust mobile applications, defining architecture, navigation, state and data management, with security, offline functionality and maintainable, scalable code.
• Integrate the application with client systems through REST APIs, implementing secure authentication, biometric login and push notifications with deep linking.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables through testing, code reviews, accessibility and performance optimization.
• Leverage AI tools in the development process to accelerate delivery without compromising technical quality.
• Take the product from the first commit to pilot release and publication on the App Store and Google Play.
• Work closely with the client, presenting results during sprint demos and contributing to product decisions.

Requirements:

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in mobile development, including at least 2 years working with React Native and TypeScript.
• At least one mobile application published on both the App Store and Google Play.
• Experience with Expo or React Native CLI, signed builds and application distribution.

Technical Skills

• Experience integrating REST APIs, implementing state management and configuring push notifications using APNs and FCM.
• Experience writing tests with Jest and React Native Testing Library.
• Proficiency with Git and code review practices.
• Comfortable using AI tools as part of the daily development workflow.

Language Skills

• Fluent in Portuguese.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mobile cryptography, including Secure Enclave, Android Keystore and end-to-end encryption.
• Experience developing chat functionality or real-time offline synchronization.
• Experience building native modules using Swift or Kotlin.
• Knowledge of mobile accessibility standards and tools, including VoiceOver and TalkBack.
• Experience with mobile CI/CD tools such as EAS, Fastlane and GitHub Actions.
• Experience in the healthcare or distribution sectors.
