Decskill is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer (Java & Angular) to design, implement and maintain software for a multi-client financial platform. You will join a growing IT consulting team and collaborate with distributed professionals across Lisbon, Porto, and Madrid.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in software engineering, deep Spring and Angular experience, and strong knowledge of SDLC, design patterns, and AI-assisted development. English communication is essential.

Qualificações

• 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Strong expertise in Spring Framework and Angular Framework.
• Experience with Shell/Bash scripting and command-line tools.
• Solid knowledge of software design patterns and architectural patterns.
• Strong experience with relational databases (Oracle preferred).
• Understanding of SDLC, unit testing, and software quality practices.
• Experience with AI code assistants and AI-assisted development.

Responsabilities:

• Analyze, design, develop and implement software solutions in accordance with IT Department guidelines.
• Develop and maintain applications within a complex, multi-client financial platform.
• Apply software development best practices and industry standards.
• Design and implement scalable, reliable and maintainable software solutions.
• Apply architectural and design patterns to ensure high-quality solutions.
• Develop and maintain high-quality code, following established coding standards.
• Implement unit tests and ensure adequate code quality and coverage.
• Leverage AI tools to support solution analysis, software development and optimisation of the development lifecycle.
• Explore and contribute to the design and creation of AI agents to automate complex tasks and improve system performance.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary and geographically distributed teams.
• Contribute to application maintenance and ensure the continuity and quality of IT services.
• Proactively identify opportunities for technical improvements and process optimisation.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of relevant professional experience in software engineering.
• Strong expertise in the Spring Framework.
• Strong proficiency in the Angular Framework.
• Experience with Shell/Bash scripting and command-line tools.
• Strong knowledge of Software Design Patterns.
• Advanced knowledge of Architectural Patterns and software architecture principles.
• Strong experience working with relational databases, preferably Oracle Database.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with unit testing and software quality practices.
• Experience with AI Code Assistants and AI-assisted software development.
• Interest or experience in the design and creation of AI agents.
• Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Proactive mindset and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively with international and multicultural teams.
• Strong adaptability to different cultures, environments and ways of working.
• Good level of english.
