Siemens Energy is seeking an experienced R2R accountant to manage General Ledger, month-end closing and Fixed Asset activities. You will work with SAP-FI, Smart Close and Blackline to ensure timely, accurate records and maintain IFRS/local GAAP compliance.

You will collaborate with regional hubs and business teams, drive process improvements, and own complex issues to deliver reliable financial statements and robust controls.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Strong knowledge of SAP-FI module and Fixed Assets.
• Fluent English (B2-C1).
• Minimum 3 years of accounting & finance operations experience.
• Practical SAP knowledge in Fixed Assets, General Ledger and Closing.
• Good MS-Office skills, especially Excel and Power BI.
• Experience in transitions and transformation projects is an advantage.

A Snapshot of Your Day

In your role as an R2R accountant, you will perform General Ledger, month-end closing and Fixed Asset activities. SAP, Smart Close, Blackline Accounts Reconciliation will be your day-to-day Tools.

Work with domain experts to clarify accounting issues, analyze errors, make corrections, and support process improvements.

Manage daily R2R requests ensuring timely and accurate recordings as per IFRS, local GAAP, and relevant standards.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regional accounting hubs and local business teams.

Actively listen to stakeholder needs, manage complex issues, and take ownership of decisions.

Share best practices with stakeholders.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Create Fixed Asset master data, capitalize assets, perform cost center transfer, asset amortization and depreciation, etc.
• Orchestrate your assigned company’s MEC (Month-end-Closing), ensuring active collaboration, problem solving skills, and continue improving mindset.
• Ensure audit controls
• Perform accounts reconciliation
• Assisting with implementing and documenting new processes and procedures
• General housekeeping of General Ledger accounts
• Posting of accruals, and further relevant GL items.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (mandatory).
• Good understanding of SAP-FI
• You are fluent English (B2 - C1)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Accounting & Finance Operations
• Practical SAP knowledge in Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Closing is required.
• Good MS-Office skills (especially in MS-Excel, Power BI)
• Experience in transitions and transformation projects is an advantage
