Siemens Energy is seeking a General Ledger Analyst to work with domain experts to clarify accounting issues, analyze errors, and support process improvements. You will manage daily General Ledger, Closing & Reporting tasks and month-end activities, ensuring timely recording per IFRS and local GAAP.

You will interact with regional hubs, contribute to intercompany reconciliations, and support implementation of new processes while maintaining audit controls and ensuring accuracy across GL accounts.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is required.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and local GAAP is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting & Finance Operations.
• Proficiency with SAP-FI and MS Excel is expected.
• Strong MS Office skills and ability to work on transitions.

In your role as General Ledger Analyst you will work with domain experts to clarify accounting issues, analyze errors, make corrections, and support process improvements. You will manage daily General Ledger, Closing & Reporting tasks and month-end activities, ensuring timely and accurate recording per IFRS, local GAAP, and relevant standards.

• Daily Operations, Controls and Process Improvements


• Orchestrate your assigned company’s MEC (Month-end-Closing), ensuring active collaboration, problem-solving skills, and continuous improvement mindset


• Ensure audit controls


• Perform accounts reconciliation


• Assist with implementing and documenting new processes and procedures


• General housekeeping of General Ledger accounts


• Intercompany reconciliations


• Posting of accruals, provisions, and other relevant GL items

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field


• Good understanding of SAP-FI (you will be tested)


• Fluent English (B2 – C1)


• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Accounting & Finance Operations


• General Ledger, Closing & Reporting accounting and IFRS knowledge is preferable


• Good MS-Office skills (especially MS-Excel)


• Experience in transitions and transformation projects is an advantage
