Bosch Aveiro is seeking a motivated engineer to join our R&D team and support the development, validation and launch of next-generation heat pump water heaters. This role offers the opportunity to work close to product innovation, laboratory testing and engineering decision-making.

You will contribute to new product introduction and continuous improvement, collaborating with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Product Management and Manufacturing.

Qualificações

• Academic Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering or similar technical field.
• Knowledge in turbomachinery and aerodynamics and strong interest in thermal systems, refrigeration or sustainable technologies.
• Good communication skills in Portuguese and English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and technical topics simultaneously.
• Innovative mindset with willingness to challenge and improve existing solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Support the development and industrialization of new heat pump water heater products.
• Analyze current and upcoming legislation, standards and technical requirements applicable to products.
• Define validation strategies, test plans and engineering test methods.
• Execute laboratory testing, measurements and performance evaluations.
• Prepare clear technical reports and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Participate in troubleshooting, brainstorming and root cause analysis activities.
• Support engineering change management processes during product development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Product Management and Manufacturing.
