Bosch Home Comfort Portugal invites applications for an extracurricular internship as an R&D and Testing Engineer for Heat Pump Water Heaters in Aveiro. This 12-month on-site program focuses on supporting development, validation, and industrialization of innovative heating solutions.

You will work with cross-functional teams to define validation strategies, execute lab testing, and prepare technical reports for stakeholders, while developing skills in thermodynamics, standards and product

Qualificações

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering or similar technical field.
• Strong interest in thermal systems, refrigeration or sustainable technologies.
• Innovative mindset with willingness to challenge and improve existing solutions.
• Good communication skills in Portuguese and English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and technical topics simultaneously and an analytical mindset.
• Autonomy, ownership and problem-solving attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Support the development and industrialization of new heat pump water heater products.
• Analyze current and upcoming legislation, standards and technical requirements applicable to products.
• Define validation strategies, test plans and engineering test methods.
• Execute laboratory testing, measurements and performance evaluations.
• Prepare clear technical reports and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Participate in troubleshooting, brainstorming and root cause analysis activities.
• Support engineering change management processes during product development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Product Management and Manufacturing.
