Robert Bosch Group in Aveiro is seeking an Extracurricular Internship: R&D Engineer for Domestic Hot Water Tanks. The role supports development, validation and launch of next-generation heat pump water heaters within Bosch Home Comfort.

The internship offers hands-on work near product innovation, lab testing and engineering decision-making, with collaboration across R&D, Quality and Manufacturing. Duration: 12 months. Access to Bosch discounts and health activities provided.

Qualificações

Academic Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering or similar technical field.
Knowledge in turbomachinery and aerodynamics and strong interest in thermal systems, refrigeration or sustainable technologies.
Good communication skills in Portuguese and English.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and technical topics simultaneously.
Innovative mindset with willingness to challenge and improve existing solutions.

Responsabilidades

Support the development and industrialization of new domestic hot water tanks.
Analyze legislation, standards and technical requirements applicable to products.
Define validation strategies, test plans and engineering test methods.
Execute laboratory testing, measurements and performance evaluations.
Prepare clear technical reports and communicate results to stakeholders.
Participate in troubleshooting, brainstorming and root cause analysis activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Product Management and Manufacturing.
