Costaterra Golf & Ocean Club, part of DLC – Discovery Land Company, invites a Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Comporta, Portugal. The role focuses on cost planning, budgets, tenders, and project cost control across luxury residential developments and hospitality projects.

You will collaborate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring value, accuracy, and compliance, while mentoring junior staff and supporting continuous improvement.

Qualificações

• Degree or technical qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Experience on major or international construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of measurement standards and construction regulations.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and construction systems (BIM/Civil 3D a plus).
• Strong commercial awareness, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and build strong working relationships.
• Flexibility to work across office, client, and site environments, with travel as required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, bills of quantities, and tender documentation.
• Manage project costs, variations, valuations, and interim/final accounts.
• Support commercial management activities, including claims and risk identification.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure projects run smoothly.
• Produce regular cost reports and ensure projects meet legal, quality, and safety standards.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement within the team.
