Costaterra Golf & Ocean Club in Comporta, Portugal, part of Discovery Land Company, is seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. You will prepare cost estimates, budgets, bills of quantities and tender documentation, and manage project costs, variations and valuations.

You will liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors to ensure projects run smoothly, produce regular cost reports and mentor junior team members while contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualificações

• Degree or technical qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Experience on major or international construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of measurement standards and construction regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, bills of quantities, and tender documentation.
• Manage project costs, variations, valuations, and interim/final accounts.
• Support commercial management activities, including claims and risk identification.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure projects run smoothly.
• Produce regular cost reports and ensure projects meet legal, quality, and safety standards.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement within the team.

We are looking for a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our team.

What you will do?

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, bills of quantities, and tender documentation.
• Manage project costs, variations, valuations, and interim/final accounts.
• Support commercial management activities, including claims and risk identification.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure projects run smoothly.
• Produce regular cost reports and ensure projects meet legal, quality, and safety standards.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement within the team.

What are we looking for?

• Degree or technical qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Experience on major or international construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of measurement standards and construction regulations.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and construction systems (BIM/Civil 3D a plus).
• Strong commercial awareness, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and build strong working relationships.
• Flexibility to work across office, client, and site environments, with travel as required.
