EDP is seeking a Quantitative Market Modeling Specialist to join our Lisbon team. You will develop forecasting models for commodities and energy markets, and design trading strategies to support operational optimization.

You will work with structured and unstructured data, help build scalable data pipelines, and contribute to model validation, documentation, and continuous improvement of analytics platforms. A multidisciplinary environment awaits you.

Qualificações

• University degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent) in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related scientific fields.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience handling complex datasets.
• Programming experience in Python or similar languages.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary environments combining engineering, data, and business perspectives.
• Experience in forecasting models, including energy production, demand, or market forecasting.
• Experience in energy markets, renewable energy systems, or system operations will be highly valued.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, system integration, and applied modelling techniques.

This role is central to supporting operational optimization, data-driven decision-making, and the development of scalable analytical models and data architectures.
