EDP seeks a Quantitative Market Modeling Specialist to develop forecasting models for energy commodities, craft trading strategies, and build scalable data architectures in a hybrid, Lisbon-based role. You will analyze diverse data sources and contribute to operational optimization across multidisciplinary teams.
Ideal candidates have a degree in engineering, mathematics, or computer science, strong Python skills, and experience with market forecasting in energy sectors.

We are looking for aQuantitative Market Modeling Specialistto join our team and play a key role in developing forecasting models, trading strategies, and analytical solutions for commodities and energy markets.
This role is central to supporting operational optimization, data-driven decision-making, and the development of scalable analytical models and data architectures. The successful candidate will contribute to forecasting activities, market analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives within multidisciplinary environments combining engineering, data, and business perspectives.
