Job summary

Forvia, a leading sustainable mobility technology group, is seeking a Quality Trainee to support the Program Quality Leader in development-phase quality activities for automotive programs in Portugal. You will assist daily tasks, help organize lessons learned, prepare Control Plans, monitor part conformity, and contribute to audits and supplier quality topics across locations.

Recent graduates with a Master's in Engineering, preferably with internship in automotive, are encouraged to apply;

Qualifications

• Masters in engineering (mechanical, plastics or related fields) is required or recently obtained.
• Previous internship or academic project in automotive or manufacturing is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, problem solving, functional analysis) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Quality Leader in daily program quality tasks.
• Help collect lessons learned from projects.

• Participate in building documentation for customer approval (e.g., PPAP).

We are looking for a motivated Quality Trainee to join our team and support the Program Quality Leader (PQL) in key activities related to product and process quality during the development phase.

As a Quality Trainee, You Will

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Profile

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Master's degree in Engineering (mechanical, plastics, or related fields).

Experience

Previous internship or academic project experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is a plus.
