Prime Nearshore is expanding its Quality Analyst role in Lisbon to support an international Banking project. You will manage testing activities across release and non-release cycles, ensuring software quality and reliability while coordinating validation activities with business and IT teams.

The ideal candidate has 3 to 5 years of QA experience, familiar with Agile or Waterfall, strong defect management, test data handling, and test reporting.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Manage testing activities for release and non-release initiatives within the project scope.
• Plan, prepare, and execute functional, regression, and validation testing.
• Coordinate cross-functional UAT activities and manage test data.
• Execute on-demand testing requests from business and IT stakeholders.
• Maintain test repositories and report progress, risks, and results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with BA, developers, and teams to ensure quality standards.
• Contribute to test automation initiatives and continuous improvement.

About the Project

We are looking for a Quality Analyst to join an international project within the Banking domain.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of business applications by managing testing activities, coordinating validation processes, and supporting continuous quality improvements.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage testing activities for both release and non-release initiatives within the project scope.
• Plan, prepare, and execute functional, regression, and validation testing activities.
• Coordinate and support cross-functional User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
• Prepare and manage test data required for testing campaigns.
• Execute on-demand testing requests from business and IT stakeholders.
• Maintain and continuously improve test repositories across functional domains.
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Produce testing reports and communicate progress, risks, and results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project teams to ensure quality standards are met.
• Contribute to test automation initiatives and continuous improvement processes.
• Ensure testing deliverables align with project objectives and quality requirements.

Your Profile

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or similar roles.
• Proven experience in test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting.
• Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
• Experience collaborating with business users and technical teams.
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in international and cross-functional teams.

Technical Skills

• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools:
• ALM (Application Lifecycle Management)
• Quality Center (QC)
• Jira
• Yest
• Knowledge of:
• SQL
• Postman
• SOAP UI
• Experience with test automation frameworks is a plus:
• Robot Framework
• Playwright

Certifications

• ISTQB Foundation Certification is preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience within the Banking or Financial Services sector.
• Knowledge of insurance or business-critical applications.
• Experience supporting automation initiatives.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement and quality-driven practices.
