Job summary

DBServices Portugal is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design and implement robust automated tests for UI, API, and integration aspects. You will build scalable automation and integrate tests into CI/CD, ensuring reliable quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Join a global team focused on continuous improvement, standardization, and cross-functional collaboration with Development, QA, DevOps, and Product groups to validate requirements and reduce risk.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in test automation.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Robot Framework, and/or Appium.
• Experience with API testing using tools/frameworks such as REST Assured, Karate, Postman/Newman, or SuperTest.
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar.
• Experience with Git and software engineering best practices.
• Ability to structure automated tests with a focus on reliability, maintainability, and scalability.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling is valued.
• Experience with Docker and cloud environments is a plus.
