DBServices Portugal is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join the Porto team. You will develop, maintain, and evolve automated test suites covering UI, API, regression, and integration testing, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines to sustain quality throughout the lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of automation experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Robot Framework, and/or Appium, plus programming skills (Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python) and CI/CD tooling

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of professional experience in test automation.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Robot Framework, and/or Appium.
• Experience with API testing using tools or frameworks (REST Assured, Karate, Postman/Newman, SuperTest).
• Experience with one or more programming languages (C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Experience with Git and software engineering best practices.
• Ability to structure automated tests with focus on reliability and maintainability.

• Document test scenarios, automation strategies, standards, and best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, standardization, and quality governance initiatives.
• Support failure analysis, troubleshooting, and investigation of test-related incidents.

• Experience with API testing using tools or frameworks such as REST Assured, Karate, Postman/Newman, or SuperTest.
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar.
• Experience with Git and software engineering best practices.
• Ability to structure automated tests with a focus on reliability, maintainability, and scalability.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling is valued.
• Experience with Docker and cloud environments is a plus.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Porto, Portugal.
