DBServices Portugal is seeking a Senior DevOps/SRE Engineer to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and platform reliability. You will work hybrid in Portugal, collaborating with development, QA, and product teams to improve delivery and ensure service performance.

You should have 4–5 years in DevOps/SRE, with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one cloud provider. Strong scripting in Bash, PowerShell, or Python, plus observability with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and

• Design, implement, and maintain robust and efficient CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of critical services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor systems and build observability dashboards using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and OpenTelemetry.
• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Implement security practices across pipelines, environments, and operational workflows, following DevSecOps principles.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, and Product teams to optimize the software delivery lifecycle.
• Create clear technical documentation, operational procedures, and internal standards.
• Contribute to innovation initiatives, process improvements, and the continuous evolution of the platform.

We are looking for a DevOps/SRE Engineer with solid experience in automation, observability, system reliability, and platform engineering practices.

• Design, implement, and maintain robust and efficient CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of critical services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or similar roles.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar.
• Solid knowledge of containers and orchestration technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or equivalent Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools and practices.
• Solid understanding of networking, protocols, security, and troubleshooting.
• Scripting experience using Bash, PowerShell, and/or Python.
• Experience working with distributed architectures and microservices.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Portugal, with on-site frequency and location to be defined.
