Decskill, an IT consulting company with over 10 years in the market, is seeking a Senior QA Analyst to join a project with a hybrid model based in Lisbon or Porto (2x/week). The ideal candidate has 6-9 years of QA experience and strong expertise in coordinating testing activities.

You will work with functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, performance, and security testing, create and review test plans, test cases, and test scenarios, and use Jira and Xray for test management.

Qualificações

• 6 - 9 years of experience as a QA Analyst.
• Solid experience in coordinating testing activities.
• Profound knowledge in different types of software testing (functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, performance, security).
• Experience in creating and reviewing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Xray).
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in English - minimum B2 level (mandatory).

Responsabilidades

• Test backlog management and task prioritization.
• Supervise execution of manual and automated tests.
• Ensure compliance with defined test strategies.
• Monitor test progress and identify bottlenecks.
• Facilitate QA communications with project areas.
• Provide guidance to the project team members.
• Identify, document, and report defects clearly in tracking tools.
• Prioritize defects by severity and business impact.
• Track defect lifecycles and verify fixes.
• Provide feedback to the development team.
• Improve QA processes and testing methodologies.
• Propose and implement new tools and techniques.
• Contribute to QA knowledge base.
• Evaluate test strategies and adjust as needed.

• Prioritize defects according to severity and business impact.
• Track defect lifecycles and verify fixes.
• Provide constructive feedback to the development team.
• Actively participate in improving QA processes and testing methodologies.
• Propose and implement new tools and techniques to optimize testing activities.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of the QA knowledge base.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of test strategies and propose adjustments.
