Checkmarx is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our testing team in Braga. You will design, implement, and maintain automated tests for our SaaS platform, integrating AI-assisted workflows and modern CI/CD pipelines.

Strong Python skills and hands-on automation with Playwright, Cypress or Selenium are essential. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to define test strategies, analyze failures, and ensure high-quality releases across cloud environments.

Qualificações

• Hands-on test automation experience with Playwright, Cypress or Selenium.
• At least 2 years of Python experience.
• Proven experience with SaaS products.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools, prompt engineering and agents.
• API testing experience.
• GitHub/GitLab experience including pipelines and workflows.
• Strong testing fundamentals and test planning.
• Strong analytical and English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and Engineering to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests.
• Integrate AI tools and agents into daily workflows (test generation, failure analysis, coverage optimization).
• Work with MCP-connected tools (GitHub, GitLab) for code management and CI/CD pipelines.
• Investigate failures and drive root cause analysis.
