Checkmarx Ltd. is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated tests for its SaaS security platform.

The role involves integrating AI tools and agents into workflows, collaborating with product, architecture, and engineering teams, and ensuring robust test coverage across CI/CD pipelines. Requirements include 2+ years of hands-on test automation with Playwright/Cypress/Selenium and 2+ years of Python experience, plus API testing and GitHub/GitLab experience.

Requirements

What is needed to succeed?

• +2 years of hands‑on test automation experience (Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium)
• +2 years of Python experience
• Proven experience working with SaaS products
• Hands‑on experience with AI tools, prompt engineering, and agents
• API testing experience
• GitHub/GitLab experience including pipelines and workflows
• Strong understanding of testing fundamentals and test planning
• Strong analytical and communication skills in English
