Qualifications

• University student or graduate in Computer Science, Mathematics or another quantitative field.
• Up to 3 years of professional, academic or project-based software/data experience.
• Strong motivation for quantitative risk/finance tech.
• Collaborative and eager to learn continuously.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model in Porto.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve Python-based components supporting quantitative risk and finance-related applications.
• Work with data queries, data manipulation and technical analysis for rating engine and stress testing processes.
• Collaborate with technical and risk teams to understand requirements and deliver reliable, maintainable solutions.
• Use version control and development practices to ensure code quality, traceability and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to automation, pipeline integration and development best practices within the team.
