Aubay Portugal seeks a senior Python developer to design, build, and maintain robust data integration solutions across third-party ecosystems. You will leverage APIs, data virtualization, and microservices to ensure real-time access and data consistency, collaborating with stakeholders.

The role involves contributing to the full software lifecycle, implementing tests, and driving quality, performance, and security improvements in an Agile/DevOps setting.

Qualificações

• Minimum 8 years of professional Python development experience with FastAPI/Flask.
• Proficiency in API design, RESTful services, and microservices architectures.
• Experience with unit/integration testing using PyTest/Unittest.
• Strong SQL skills and PostgreSQL experience.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Git workflows, code reviews, and observability.
• Hands-on with cloud environments (AWS) and Docker containerization.
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps with Jira/Confluence; English proficiency mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Python solutions for evolving data ecosystems.
• Translate requirements into scalable applications and integrations with stakeholders.
• Implement APIs, data virtualization, and integration frameworks for data consistency.
• Contribute to the full SDLC: design, coding, testing, reviews, and deployment.
• Support testing phases (SIT/UAT), resolve defects, ensure performance and security.
• Ensure service continuity and ongoing development within projects and maintenance.

What will you do?

• Design, develop, and maintain robust solutions for the evolution of third-party data ecosystems, enhancing data accessibility and real-time availability.
• Translate functional and technical requirements into scalable, high-quality applications and integrations, collaborating closely with stakeholders.
• Implement solutions utilizing APIs, data virtualization, and related integration frameworks to improve data consistency across systems.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including technical design, coding, unit testing, code reviews, and deployment.
• Support functional and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases, resolving defects and ensuring solution quality, performance, and security.
• Ensure functional and application consistency, service continuity, and continuous development within projects and maintenance activities.

• Practical experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, IBM) and containerization using Docker.
• Demonstrated experience working effectively in Agile/DevOps environments, utilizing collaboration and delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Git.
• Mandatory proficiency in English.
