Job summary

Läderach Global Capability Center in Porto, Portugal, is seeking a Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) Accounting Specialist who is fluent in English and German. You will document P2P processes, drive improvements, ensure compliance and act as a key liaison across Procurement, Finance and business units.

With 3+ years in P2P or Accounts Payable, you’ll shape a new project in a B2C environment, delivering reliable timelines and KPI-driven results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in P2P or Accounts Payable, ideally in a Shared Services environment.
• Fluency in English and German.
• Willingness to build and shape a new project from scratch in a B2C environment.
• Strong customer service mindset and continuous improvement focus.
• Ability to manage complexity in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Document P2P processes and create operational procedures.
• Identify bottlenecks, improvements and controls; share recommendations.
• Ensure transition timelines and operational deadlines are met.
• Ensure compliance with P2P policies, procedures and controls.
• Resolve operational issues and drive solutions with stakeholders.
• Maintain audit readiness through quality controls and documentation.
• Act as the key contact for Procurement, Finance and business units.
• Drive process improvements, standardization and quick wins.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of operational KPIs.

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field; an MBA or professional certification is a plus
• You bring 3+ years of experience in P2P or Accounts Payable, ideally in a Shared Services environment
• You have strong analytical, Excel and stakeholder management skills
• You are fluent in English and German
• You are willing to build and shape a new project from scratch in a B2C environment
• You have a strong customer service and continuous improvement mindset
• You manage complexity effectively and thrive in a multicultural environment
