Vodafone Portugal seeks a Public Affairs professional to support policy advocacy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and compliance with national and European frameworks.

You will monitor policy developments, prepare briefings, engage stakeholders, and help position Vodafone as a credible voice in the telco and digital sectors. The role offers a hybrid work model and opportunities to build policy expertise across teams.

Qualificações

• Degree in Economics, Law, Political Science, or related field.
• Strong writing, analytical and research skills.
• English and Portuguese language (spoken and written).

Responsabilidades

• Monitor industry trends and national/EU policy developments to inform senior leadership.
• Prepare summaries, briefings, presentations and internal updates.
• Draft consultation responses, position papers and institutional communications.
• Stakeholder mapping, meeting prep, engagement and follow-up activities.
• Support responses to information requests, ensuring compliance with internal teams.
• Represent Vodafone in industry associations and meetings with stakeholders.
• Deliver monitoring, research and briefing materials on time and with quality.
• Contribute to advocacy outputs and policy wins.
• Develop effective stakeholder engagement plans and representation.

What You'll Do

• Monitor industry trends and relevant national and EU policy developments to provide senior leadership of emerging risks/opportunities and informed positions;
• Prepare summaries, briefings, presentations and internal updates;
• Support thedrafting of consultation responses, position papers and institutional communications;
• Stakeholdermapping, meeting preparation, engagement and follow-up activities;
• Support responsesto information requests, ensuring compliance and liaising with internal teams as needed;
• Represent Vodafone in industry associations and meetings with key external stakeholders;
• Timely and accurate delivery of monitoring, research and briefing materials;
• Quality of advocacy contributions;
• Effective stakeholder engagement plans, representation and policy wins.

Who You Are

• Degree in Economics, Law, Political Science, or related field;
• Strong interest in the telco and digital policy matters;
• Strong writing, analytical and research skills;
• Good organisation, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities;
• Collaborative approach, excellent communication skills and ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships;
• Experience or willingness to develop policy expertise and stakeholder engagement capabilities;
• Initial experience or strong interest in public affairs, regulatory affairs, telco and digital policy or European affairs would be valued;
• English andPortuguese language (spoken and written)
