Vodafone is seeking an experienced professional to carry out the engineering and delivery of core TV platforms within the TV Engineering and Delivery (TED) team, part of the Network Strategy and Engineering vertical delivering products to all European markets. You will lead end-to-end configuration and integration across several markets.

The role requires a degree in Computer Science or related field, strong cross-functional collaboration, and fluency in English and Portuguese.

Qualificações

• Degree in computer science, engineering, information technology or related field.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
• Experience in telecoms and video technologies is preferable.
• Understanding of agile development and delivery methodologies is preferable.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Drive platform and services integration as part of the VTV program across markets.
• Assure end-to-end configuration of TV features and maintain consistency across markets.
• Coordinate and manage vendors in TV project deployments ensuring timing and requirements.
• Analyze architecture documents and assess improvements for production-ready solutions.
• Support certification processes and develop automated testing to ensure quality.
• Support operations post-delivery including incident analysis and fixes.
• Interface with stakeholders for execution of activities.
• Design and implement solutions, validate and provide post-deployment support.
• Lifecycle and capacity management.
• Vendor management at project level.
• End-to-end configuration management.

What you’ll do

• Drive the integrationof platform and servicesas part of theVTV programacross several markets;
• Assure end-to-end configuration of TV featureskeeping configuration consistency across markets and environments;
• Coordination and vendor management inthe deployment ofTV projects in order to guarantee time to market and compliance to functional and non-functional requirements;
• Analyse technical documentation delivered by Architectureand Developmentteams and be able to assess if improvements are required to ensure the solutions delivered will work in aproductive environment;
• Support the deliverables certification processes and developautomated testing mechanisms,ensuring quality and excellence in delivery;
• Support Operational teams in post-delivery period, including technical analysis of incidents, bugs or performance issues and help designing and delivering fixes;
• Interface with internal and external stakeholdersfor the execution of the above mentioned activities;
• Solution design &implementation, including validation activities and post deployment support;
• Lifecycle and capacity management;
• VendorManagementat a project level;
• End-to-end configuration management.

Who you are

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field;
