Vodafone is seeking a Public Affairs professional in Lisbon to support strategy implementation and advocacy for Vodafone Portugal. You will coordinate with internal teams, monitor policy developments and prepare briefs and responses to inform leadership and external stakeholders.

We value strong writing, analytical and research skills, plus fluent English and Portuguese. The role offers a hybrid work model and opportunities to influence telco and digital policy across Europe.

Qualificações

• Degree in Economics, Law, Political Science or related field.
• Strong writing, analytical and research skills are required.
• English and Portuguese language proficiency (spoken and written).

Responsabilidades

• Monitor industry trends and national/EU policy developments to inform leadership and positions.
• Prepare summaries, briefings, presentations and internal updates.
• Support drafting of consultation responses, position papers and institutional communications.
• Stakeholder mapping, meeting preparation, engagement and follow-up activities.
• Assist with information requests, ensuring compliance and liaising with internal teams.
• Represent Vodafone in industry associations and with external stakeholders.
• Deliver monitoring, research and briefing materials accurately and timely.
• Contribute to quality of advocacy contributions and policy wins.

What You’ll Do

• Monitor industry trends and relevant national and EU policy developments to provide senior leadership of emerging risks/opportunities and informed positions;
• Prepare summaries, briefings, presentations and internal updates;
• Support the drafting of consultation responses, position papers and institutional communications;
• Stakeholder mapping, meeting preparation, engagement and follow-up activities;
• Support responses to information requests, ensuring compliance and liaising with internal teams as needed;
• Represent Vodafone in industry associations and meetings with key external stakeholders;
• Timely and accurate delivery of monitoring, research and briefing materials;
• Quality of advocacy contributions;
• Effective stakeholder engagement plans, representation and policy wins.

Who You Are

• Degree in Economics, Law, Political Science, or related field;
• Strong interest in the telco and digital policy matters;
• Strong writing, analytical and research skills;
• Good organisation, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities;
• Collaborative approach, excellent communication skills and ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships;
• Experience or willingness to develop policy expertise and stakeholder engagement capabilities;
• Initial experience or strong interest in public affairs, regulatory affairs, telco and digital policy or European affairs would be valued;
• English and Portuguese language (spoken and written)
