Elementis PLC is seeking an Additives Scientist in Porto, Portugal, to support global business growth within the Adhesives & Sealants segment. The role involves designing and optimizing rheology and adhesion modifiers for pressure-sensitive adhesive systems. Candidates should have a degree in a relevant field, 3–5 years of experience in additive development, and strong skills in rheology and adhesive performance testing. On-site work arrangement is required.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in additive development, PSA formulation, or adhesive systems.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and optimize rheology and adhesion additives for PSA systems.
• Perform material and formulation characterization.
• Support transition of laboratory formulations to commercial production.

Conhecimentos

Understanding of rheology

Adhesive performance testing

Proficiency in DOE and statistical tools

Laboratory practices

Formação académica

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or related discipline

Ph.D. preferred
