Visa Hunt is seeking a Project Controls Engineer in Portugal to lead planning, forecasting, and reporting for large, complex projects. You will work closely with the project manager to maintain a holistic view of time, cost, risk, and scope, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

The role emphasizes data analysis, earned value management, and scenario planning, with hands-on use of Primavera P6 and MS Project. Strong English and Portuguese communication is required.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in Industrial, Civil, or Business Engineering.
• Analytical, independent, and communicative mindset.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
• Strong interest and knowledge in IT tools.
• Flexible and curious, eager to explore different projects and industries.
• Experience with project controls and data analysis is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a trusted advisor to the project manager within the area of project controls.
• Understand the technical aspects of the project and translate them into a comprehensive project plan.
• Take ownership of the planning and control process, performing advanced analyses such as Earned Value, scenario planning, and risk assessments.
• Provide guidance to the project manager and team regarding potential claims.
• Utilize and master project management software tools, including Primavera P6 and MS Project (preferable).
