TEKEVER is seeking a Data & AI Product Owner to define the strategy, roadmap and execution of data and AI initiatives. You will translate complex AI concepts into actionable business solutions and lead end-to-end AI product delivery.

The role requires 3+ years in product ownership, strong AI/Data tech knowledge, and excellent collaboration across data scientists, engineers and stakeholders. UK/Portugal/France/Spain preferred; salary aligns with experience.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's in CS/Data Science/Engineering; Master’s degree a plus.
• 3+ years as Product Owner/Manager in tech with AI/data focus.
• Strong understanding of AI/Data technologies incl. ML, big data and analytics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Proven leadership to guide cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (Scrum, Jira).
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Product ownership certification (PSPO I/CSPO) preferred.

The Data & AI Product Owner will be responsible for defining and driving the product strategy, roadmap and execution of data and AI initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of data science, machine learning and AI technologies, as well as the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing AI products from conception to launch, with a strong focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.

What Will Be Your Responsibilities

• Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for AI-driven solutions, aligned with the company's overall objectives. Define and communicate the Product vision, strategy and roadmap for the AI and data products in your portfolio;
• Roadmap Planning: Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap that outlines key milestones, deliverables and timelines;
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including data scientists, engineers, business analysts and customers, to gather requirements, prioritize features and ensure alignment;
• Product Development: Lead the product development lifecycle, from ideation and design to implementation, testing and release. Ensure that AI models and data solutions meet high standards of quality, scalability and performance;
• Work closely withdata scientists, engineers, hardware teams and other team members to deliver innovative AI and data solutions;
• Manage the product backlog, including writing clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria;
• Priorize and sequence the backlog according to business value and customer needs;
• Lead sprint planning and reviews;
• Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success. Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement;
• Monitor product performance and gather feedback to inform future development;
• Own the end-to-end delivery of the Data & AI products within your portfolio;
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in AI and data.

Profile And Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related field (Masters degree is a plus);
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in the tech industry, with a focus on data and artificial intelligence products;
• Strong understanding of AI and data technologies, including machine learning, big data and data analytics. Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, data analytics and data engineering. Experience with AI platforms, tools and frameworks (e.G., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn);
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders;
• Proven leadershipskills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams;
• Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.G., Scrum, Jira);
• Strong analyticaland problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making;
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable plans and requirements;
• Hands-on with solid technical acumen;
• A passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends;
• Ideally, in possession of Product Owner certification (e.G. ideally Professional Scrum Product OwnerTM Certification (PSPO I), or Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®)).

Preferred location of working: UK, Portugal, France and/or Spain

Language Requirements: Advanced proficiency in Portuguese and English, with proven fluency at the C2 level in both languages.
