Jobtailor in Lisbon, Portugal, is seeking an experienced Product Designer to join cross-functional teams and shape product development from concept to launch.

You will translate complex problems into intuitive user experiences, lead research, create visuals and rapid prototypes, and collaborate closely with PMs and engineers in an agile environment.

Fluent English and a portfolio in English are required, with international or distributed company experience considered a plus.

Qualificações

• At least 3 years of professional product design experience or similar.
• Deep user empathy and strong user experience sensibilities.
• Ability to conduct research and turn user research into insights.
• Ability to design simple, elegant flows across platforms in an agile way.
• Strong knowledge in visual design.
• Proficiency with industry-standard design tools (Figma, Sketch, InVision).
• Experience collaborating with PMs, engineers, and designers in cross-functional product teams.
• Experience with lean startup or agile methodologies, or working with clients.
• Degree in Design or related field or equivalent experience.
• Fluent English speaker.
• Portfolio in English.
• International or distributed work experience is a plus.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional product design experience or similar
• Deep user empathy and strong user experience sensibilities
• Ability to conduct research and turn user research into insights
• Ability to design simple, elegant, and user-friendly flows across a range of platforms in an agile way
• Strong knowledge in visual design
• Proficiency with industry-standard design tools, e. g. Figma, Sketch, InVision
• Experience collaborating with PMs, engineers, and designers in cross-functional product teams
• Experience with two of: lean startup methodologies, agile development methodologies, working directly with clients
• A degree in Design (Communication Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, UX, HCI) or a related field OR equivalent professional experience
• Fluent English speaker
• Portfolio in English
• International experience or experience working in a distributed company is a plus
