Jobtailor in Setúbal, Portugal is seeking a Process Engineer to monitor production from formulation to final product and to drive improvements across the line.

You will map processes, implement action plans, verify results, and support non-routine interventions while ensuring quality and efficiency. A Chemical Engineering degree and at least 2 years in a similar role are required.

Qualificações

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Computer skills from a user perspective.
• Knowledge of industrial processes and continuous improvement techniques.
• Initiative, relationship skills, and teamwork ability.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor the entire production process from formulation to the final product, ensuring productivity and product quality.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Monitor, identify, and propose improvements to production processes in terms of quality and efficiency.
• Design, implement, and monitor action plans to improve production processes.
• Validate and verify the effectiveness of results and benefits achieved.
• Monitor daily operations and performance indicators, especially RFT (right at first time).
• Conduct regular field monitoring of formulation processes for process mapping, Productivity Matrix updates, and first formulations (NPI).
• Monitor the introduction of new products and new operating methods.
• Participate in change management projects involving new or changed processes and operational practices.
• Promote cooperation among Development (R&D), Production, Quality, Safety, Planning, Maintenance, and other areas.
• Support planning and execution of non-routine interventions and actions.
• Update and propose improvements to documentation and work instructions.
• Raise awareness and administer Process Engineering training for other teams.
• Promote a collaborative work environment and contribute to factory objectives.
