Rovensa in Setúbal, Portugal seeks a Process Engineer to monitor production from formulation to final product and drive process improvements. You will collaborate across Development, Production, Quality, Safety, Planning, and Maintenance to implement new methods and update documentation.

The role requires a degree in Chemical Engineering and at least 2 years of experience, with strong teamwork, initiative, and problem-solving skills.

Qualificações

  • Must have a degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Computer skills from a user perspective.
  • Knowledge of industrial processes and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Initiative, relationship skills, and teamwork ability.

Responsabilidades

  • Monitor, identify, and propose improvements to production processes in terms of quality and efficiency.
  • Design, implement, and monitor action plans to improve production processes, validating and verifying the effectiveness of the results and benefits achieved
  • Monitor daily operations and performance indicators (especially RFT - right at first time), identifying opportunities for improvement and/or problem solving
  • Conduct regular field monitoring of formulation processes with a view to process mapping, updating the Productivity Matrix, or monitoring first formulations (NPI)
  • Monitor the introduction of new products and the implementation of new operating methods, ensuring their effective integration into production processes
  • Actively participate in change management projects associated with the implementation of new processes, changes to existing processes, or the introduction of new operational practices
  • Promote cooperation and coordination among the various areas of the organization (Development (R&D), Production, Quality, Safety, Planning, Maintenance, among others), supporting the planning and execution of non-routine interventions and actions
  • Update and propose improvements to documentation and work instructions
  • Raise awareness and administer training in the field of Process Engineering for other teams
  • Promote a collaborative work environment and actively contribute to the achievement of the factory's objectives

Mission:

To monitor the entire production process from formulation to the final product, ensuring productivity and product quality, identifying and implementing process improvements.

Responsibilities:
