Job summary

TransPerfect Life Sciences is seeking a compliant and privacy-minded analyst to oversee DSAR requests, draft responses, and monitor evolving regulatory requirements. You will coordinate with clients, sales, and management, while supporting internal audits and process improvements.

The role requires a Law degree and at least 1 year in a related privacy field; CIPP/CIPM certification is a plus. Fluency in English and Spanish is essential; occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Compliance and Privacy area.
• Certifications such as CIPP or CIPM are advantageous.
• Experience in ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, 27001) helpful.
• Strong written and verbal English; Spanish a plus.

Job description

The Compliance & Privacy Analyst is responsible for the operational success of TransPerfect’s Compliance & Privacy Programs; ensuring successful completion and delivery of tasks and deadlines required by regulatory, statutory or other requirements, as an independent Compliance & Privacy Analyst, with support or direction given by Compliance and Privacy Team Lead/Manager, as well as Compliance and Privacy Officer, DPO.

Your responsibilities and tasks will include:

• Take ownership and handle all DSR requests; oversight of deadlines, outstanding requests, communication and assignment of required tasks

• Lead investigation and drafting DSAR. Monitor and research new or updated relevant regulatory or other requirements

• Manage stakeholder communication around Compliance and Privacy. Handle questions, such as RFP, from clients, sales and management

• Participate in internal audit activities (coordination, interviews, reporting and follow up activities), as part of internal audit team

• Innovate for continuous improvement in internal processes

• Thorough understanding of project management; able to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines and goals

• A team player with a flexible and creative approach

• Ability to analyze and adopt/implement new requirements, programs and/or technology related Compliance and Privacy such as request tracking system

• Ability to travel and/or have flexibility to work in different time-shift to work with clients and colleagues worldwide

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant Compliance and Privacy area

• Relevant legal specialization and/or professional certifications, such as CIPP or CIPM, are an advantage

• Experience working in a high-performance, collaborative, and constructive team environment

• Experience managing tasks related to ISO 9001, ISO 17100, ISO 18587, ISO 27001, and/or other international standards

Required skills:

• Certification in internal auditor

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. Additional languages are a plus

• Experience or knowledge of Confluence, JIRA, or other online collaboration tools

• Experience in establishing and writing SOPs and/or Policies

• Excellent knowledge/experience using MS Office suit (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Attention to detail

• Ability to learn new skills quickly

• Exceptional problem solving/critical thinking skills
