Elastic is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join the Platform Engineering Productivity team. You will own improvements to CI reliability, build systems that produce releasable artifacts, and enable episodic developer environments while driving quality and efficiency at scale.

You will mentor engineers, define release quality gates, and create tooling for deployment. Strong AI fluency and experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms are highly valued.

Qualificações

• Experience across the full software life cycle, including build, test, release, and quality strategy.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, Java, or Scala.
• Hands-on AI fluency and integrating LLM APIs into production workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD systems and modern release practices.

Responsabilidades

• Improve CI infrastructure reliability and efficiency.
• Develop tooling and infrastructure for product deployment and release.
• Review code to uphold standards, improve performance, and catch defects early.
• Collaborate with engineering and product on requirements, testing, and delivery.
• Mentor engineers and promote code quality and best practices.
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation for systems and processes.
