Elastic is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join the Platform Engineering Productivity team. You will influence the software development lifecycle, from build to release, and guide teams toward scalable, reliable delivery of Elastic products.

Qualificações

• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including build, test, release, and quality strategies.
• Proficiency in one or more languages such as Python, Go, Bash, Java, or Scala.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Git, and modern release practices.

Responsabilidades

• Improve CI infrastructure reliability and efficiency.
• Build and manage systems that produce releasable artifacts.
• Enable ephemeral developer environments.
• Define and enforce release quality gates.
• Develop tooling and infrastructure for product deployment and release.
• Review code to uphold engineering standards, improve performance, and catch defects early.
• Collaborate with engineering and product to align on requirements, testing strategy, and delivery goals.
• Drive clear technical communication across teams and projects.
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation for systems, processes, and architectural decisions.
• Mentor engineers and foster a collaborative culture around code quality and best practices.
