Elastic seeks a Principal Software Engineer for Builder Experience within Platform Engineering Productivity in Portugal. You will own end-to-end systems, drive AI-enabled tooling, and ensure robust release workflows.

You will mentor engineers, improve development speed, and collaborate across globally distributed teams. You bring deep software lifecycle expertise, proficiency in Python/Go/Java/Scala, and strong cloud and deployment tooling.

Qualificações

• Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience with modern programming languages and tooling.
• Hands-on AI fluency and production-ready ML/LLM integrations.

Responsabilidades

• Improve CI infrastructure reliability and efficiency.
• Build and manage systems that produce releasable artifacts.
• Define and enforce release quality gates.
• Develop tooling and infrastructure for product deployment and release.
• Review code to uphold standards and catch defects early.
• Collaborate with teams to align requirements and delivery goals.
• Drive clear technical communication across teams and projects.
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
• Mentor engineers and foster collaboration around code quality.
