Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking an AI Language Expert for Portuguese to evaluate AI-generated speech and text for accuracy and educational quality. The role is remote, hourly, with a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week, and asynchronous collaboration with project leads.

You will assess learner language from CEFR Pre-A1 through B2+, provide structured feedback, and suggest improvements to improve Portuguese models. This freelance position offers autonomy and ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

Native-level proficiency in Portuguese.
Experience teaching Portuguese or evaluating learner language.
Fluent in English (C1/C2).
Familiar with CEFR frameworks.

Responsibilities

Evaluate AI-generated Portuguese speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality.
Assess learner speech and writing across CEFR levels from Pre-A1 through B2+.
Identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps with expert judgment.
Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic, and culturally appropriate Portuguese.
Provide structured, actionable feedback that improves AI tutoring and language-learning models.
Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts.
