Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Medical Representative to maximize sales growth within a defined territory in Portugal. The role involves educating physicians and hospital staff on product benefits to increase prescriptions while maintaining accurate records in CRM systems.

The position requires a Life Sciences degree or equivalent, strong MS Office and CRM skills, and the ability to present to customers. Travel within the territory and adherence to industry guidelines are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, 5 years’ relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree Life Sciences or related field required
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be accepted
• Basic knowledge of Pharma Market and related procedures
• Fluency with MS Office and CRM systems
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to conduct face to face presentations to customers
• AZDL – Driver Licence – Valid and in State

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned activity goals and targets for the territory with supervision.
• Conduct sales interviews and develop a self-analytical approach to learn from each call.
• Promote and sell therapeutic products to general practitioners and other healthcare providers.
• Identify target customers within the territory and maintain records.
• Update records in CRM and reporting systems in a timely manner.
• Organize and hold group events to optimize business while complying with country legislation.
• Share insights and techniques to train colleagues in sales.
• Discuss, agree and document activity, KPIs and targets with the Line Manager.
