Linum Consult is seeking a highly autonomous Business Development Manager to drive growth in Portugal from its Lisbon base. The role focuses on identifying opportunities in industrial, logistics and commercial sectors, engaging developers, investors and end-users, and converting opportunities into major design & build contracts.

Qualificações

• Approximately 10+ years of experience in business development or related role within construction.
• Strong background in Design & Build, EPC, general contracting or turnkey construction.
• Proven track record in developing and winning significant construction projects.
• Established professional network within Portugal and/or wider Iberian market.
• Strong understanding of industrial, logistics, commercial or technically complex buildings.
• Ability to engage credibly with senior executives, developers, investors and international clients.
• A degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business or related discipline.
• Fluent Portuguese and English.
• Eligibility to work within the EU.

Responsabilidades

• Identify major upcoming industrial, logistics and commercial development opportunities.
• Develop relationships with developers, investors, occupiers, manufacturers and other key decision-makers.
• Build a strong network across the Portuguese real estate and construction market.
• Identify international companies planning new facilities or investment in Portugal.
• Manage the complete business development cycle from initial contact through to contract signature.
• Develop strategic account plans for key clients and target sectors.
• Understand clients' investment plans and position the company at the earliest stages of project development.
• Work closely with design, estimating, technical and construction teams to develop turnkey solutions.
• Support the commercial structuring and negotiation of Design & Build contracts.
• Represent the business at industry events, conferences and professional networks.
• Provide market intelligence and contribute directly to the company's wider Iberian growth strategy.
