Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Maritime Engineering.
• Experience in engineering, project preparation and/or execution of offshore projects.
• Affinity with offshore installation, heavy lift or transport & installation operations.

• Select equipment and design lifting and installation arrangements.
• Prepare engineering deliverables for offshore installation projects.

As an Installation / Removal Engineer in our new Porto office, you play a key role in the preparation and execution of complex offshore installation projects.

Your role in the story

As an Installation / Removal Engineer at Heerema Marine Contractors, you are responsible for developing safe, practical and efficient offshore installation methods. You translate complex engineering challenges into executable solutions and contribute directly to the successful delivery of offshore projects.

You will work within one of our product lines: Wind, Transport & Installation or Decommissioning, supporting projects from early concept and tendering phases through to offshore execution.

You will be part of a growing egineering team in Porto and work closely with engineers across different disciplines. Togeterh, you contribute to delivering complex offshore projects while building a strong and collaborative working environment.

What you will be working on

• Developing offshore execution methods and installation procedures
• Selecting equipment and designing lifting and installation arrangements
• Preparing engineering deliverables for offshore installation projects
• Supporting project execution, including offshore phases when required
• Preparing and coordinating subcontractor scopes of work
• Collaborating with project, structural and installation engineers across disciplines
• Contributing to safe, efficient and innovative offshore operations

Working closely with colleagues to support the development of a collaborative engineering environment

Key ingredients for success

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Maritime Engineering
• Experience in engineering, project preparation and/or execution of offshore projects
• Affinity with offshore installation, heavy lift or transport & installation operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate technical concepts into practical solutions
• A proactive and ownership-driven mindset
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Willingness to travel internationally and work offshore when required
• Comfortable working in a growing and developing organisation
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
