AstraZeneca is seeking a Data Health Population Specialist to shape local data strategy, deliver analytics and dashboard solutions, and support smarter decision‑making across healthcare. You will lead end‑to‑end dashboard development, KPI design, data governance, and compliant AI-enabled tooling in a cross‑functional setting.

The role requires a Master’s in Health/Medical Informatics or related field with 4+ years in data analytics, BI, or data management, plus strong SQL/SAS/R/Python and Power

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Health/Medical Informatics or related quantitative field with 4+ years in data analytics, dashboard development, BI, reporting, or data management.
• Strong capability in SQL, SAS, R, and/or Python with hands-on Power BI/Tableau experience; end-to-end dashboard development including data sourcing, KPI definition, visualization, testing, deployment and maintenance.
• Sound understanding of healthcare data structures, KPI definitions, GDPR, data governance, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain local data strategy aligned to business and medical needs, focusing on reporting and dashboard delivery.
• Coordinate data collection, integration, cleaning, transformation, and harmonisation from multiple sources to build analysis-ready datasets.
• Lead end-to-end dashboard development from requirements to publication and continuous improvement; ensure dashboards are intuitive and actionable.
• Perform descriptive and exploratory analytics to identify trends, patterns, gaps, and opportunities across healthcare data.
