Sword Health seeks a data platform engineer to design and operate our modern streaming lakehouse, enabling low-latency data access for clinical, operations, AI, and product teams. You will own durable workflows, APIs, and vendor integrations, building AI-ready infrastructure in a regulated healthcare context.

Qualificações

• Proven experience designing and operating data platforms at scale.
• Experience with lakehouse or data warehouse architectures in production.
• Strong understanding of catalogs and compute/storage separation.

Responsabilidades

• Design and evolve Sword’s streaming lakehouse foundation.
• Build and operate low-latency distributed streaming pipelines.
• Own durable workflows coordinating complex data movement.
• Shape the platform’s API surface for self-service usage.
• Evaluate and integrate vendor data platforms within architectural trade-offs.
• Contribute to self-service and agentic layers for humans, systems and AI.
• Collaborate on contracts, governance, and data lineage with engineers and analysts.
• Build AI-ready data infra powering ML products and AI-driven apps.
• Leverage AI coding assistants to accelerate development and code quality.
• Work in regulated environments with audit and governance considerations.
